Data, in its many forms, provides opportunities to explore research questions and understand topics more deeply. This workshop introduces open datasets as a primary data source and focuses on thinking critically about who creates data, where it exists, and how to decide whether a dataset is a good fit for your research.
This workshop will take place online.

Topic Drop-In sessions are an opportunity for students to drop in sometime during the hour to discuss quick questions they may have about the given topic. If you are struggling with writing an annotated bibliography and have questions, please feel free to sign up and drop by! Questions from other students at the drop-in may also aid in your own clarity.
This Topic Drop-In will take place online.
