Whether you’re new to research or getting back into it, this session is designed to make the process feel manageable. In this interactive, conversational space, students from all programs can ask questions, learn how research works, and pick up practical tips for finding and using library resources.
Not sure where to start, how to find sources, or what terms like “peer review” mean? We’ll help you figure it out—come with questions or just listen and learn.
We will be meeting online and the link to attend will be sent after you have registered.

Finding sources is more than typing words into a search box. Strong research depends on effective search strategies. This workshop focuses on improving search techniques and using keywords more intentionally to find relevant academic sources. The skills you practice can be applied to research projects across your courses.
This workshop will be held in-person, at the Student Commons Seminar Room.
